I don’t want to go on and on about how easy it is to fall in love with Paris – as it’s what you hear from nearly every single person – so I promise to keep it short. We took these photos when I spent the day walking through the Jardin Des Tuileries Gardens for the very first time. I’d only ever heard and seen photos of the Tuileries from the street style FW coverage you see pop up online which shows just one very small part of the gardens, so when we walked through its front gates I was completely unaware of just how breathtakingly huge and beautiful it really is.

Jessica can vouch for when I saw it for the first time, I literally gasped and was immediately lost for words, only to hear her say “Just wait, it gets even better” as she excitedly guided me through and pointed to the Eiffel Tower peeking through the trees in the distance. I don’t know if she had planned on surprising me like that or if she thought I knew you could see it from the gardens, but as I was mentally preparing myself for my first Eiffel Tower sighting for the following day I was unexpectedly caught off guard and started welling up with tears into her shoulder.

No matter how or where you see the Eiffel Tower for the first time, you can’t really prepare yourself for just how beautiful it really is. If you’ve watched just as many love movies set in Paris as I have just make sure you pack the tissues, or for some reason have a mouth full of fluffy marshmallows to muffle the loud gasps or weird squeals that you weren’t aware you were capable of making. To anyone who thought a mouse was dying, that was just me…
