Nicole Warne is one of the world’s leading digital influencers, with her fashion, travel and lifestyle brand – Gary Pepper Girl – boasting a loyal global audience of over 2.3 million followers.
Hailing from North Avoca in Australia, Nicole launched her business with an e-commerce store and blog in 2009, which she balanced with her full-time job, part-time studies and internships at Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar Australia. Just 20 years old at the time, Nicole decided to quit her job and defer her studies to focus on building her online business.
Fast-forward to 2016 and Nicole is highly regarded in the fields of fashion, digital and social media, and e-commerce, collaborating with brands as a creative director, social media and brand consultant, digital strategist and influencer.
Nicole’s creative skill set, sharp focus on high-quality content and innate eye for detail is highly sought after, and she counts luxury brands Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Chopard and L’Oreal Luxe amongst her list of clients.
In 2015, Nicole was announced as the Digital Consultant for Qantas Airways, Australia’s premium airline, which sees her contribute strategies to their digital projects and influencer program. She was the face of L’Oreal Professionel’s Global Advertising Campaign, shot with Sam McKnight, and signed with Net-a-Porter as the only digital influencer to be a Style Council Ambassador.
In 2016, Nicole was part of the Forbes ’30 Under 30’ List and Business of Fashion’s ‘The 500 People Shaping the Global Industry’ List for her second consecutive year. Nicole also renewed both her Qantas and Net-a-Porter contracts for 2016/17, and they continue to work closely together.
Nicole loves to support the next generation and has been a guest judge for Asia’s Next Top Model (2016), The Australian Fashion Film Awards (2015), The Australian BT Emerging Fashion Designer Award (2015), and The Calvin Klein Accessories International Design School Project Award (2014).
She has graced the covers of Vogue Me (China), Miss Vogue (Australia), Harper’s BAZAAR (Singapore and Malaysia), ELLE (Australia), Lucky (US), Grazia (Italy), Nylon (Singapore and Malaysia), and Net-A-Porter.com’s The Edit.
Nicole is passionate about philanthropy and is currently the Global Ambassador for Donate Planet – a not-for-profit foundation. She has also worked with WWF, OCRF and The Cancer Institute, and continues to support charity initiatives in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.
