One of the main reasons I came home was because I had a very important birthday and wedding to attend. After jumping off the plane from New York I went straight to one of my dear friends weddings, the first wedding in my close circle of friends so you can imagine how high the emotions were running that day. It was the perfect time to be home as all of my friends who are currently scattered across Australia came together for just one day to celebrate such a beautiful moment in two peoples lives. My cheeks were hurting by the end of the night from smiling so much and my make up smudged from crying, I think it’s safe to say I’m a lover of love and a hopeless romantic.
If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that this is the silk dress I wore to Amelia’s wedding. It’s by Australian designer Manning Cartell and I’ve had it for quite some time. I was saving it for a special occasion and needed to work on my summer glow before attempting to wear it with its soft peach tones and plunging back. It was perfect for Amelia’s wedding but not nearly as perfect as the entire day. Any wedding with a photobooth in it is perfect in my books!
