So after a few very crazy weeks I finally landed in LA on Monday morning and couldn’t have been happier to leave the stress behind that had been building up before flying out. Thanks in a large part to too much coffee, I somehow managed to have my suitcase packed by 9pm the night before with 4 kilos of extra luggage space to spare.
With nearly three months of travel and four fashion weeks in front of me, I can safely say I’ve never been this long away from home before. Part of me is too excited by the thought of what I will do, what I will see and who will I meet, whilst the other half is already longing for the smell of sea salt that fills my hometown and falling asleep with Yumi’s paw in my hand. This is also the longest time I’ve been apart from Luke as we won’t see each other for a whole 6 weeks.
Luckily I was in very good hands to keep me company when I landed in LA thanks to Aimee, Jules and their boyfriends. We even managed to take some photos of me after I had just walked off a 14 hour flight from Sydney. And no word of a lie, this is me run down after being seated in front of a crazy man who wouldn’t let me recline my chair because I was “hitting his knee”… and me being me of course didn’t argue with him. Let’s just say sunglasses were definitely needed. Now off to New York City!
