I thought by now that I would have the hang of blogging on the road but alas, it’s just as hard as I remember from my last trip to Europe. The days have been even longer with the sunsets arriving around 10pm so trying to make the most of every minute of light but editing and uploading is proving to be a little tricky. This is my first time to Europe in spring and summer so the weather and mass crowds are a vast difference to what I remember, but the new memories and friends I’ve made are just as sweet as last time, maybe even more so.
I have so much content to get online for you all so I thought I would start posting from my time in Paris. Since then I’ve been to Florence with Luisaviaroma for the 8th edition of Firenze4ever and I’m now in Cinque Terre along the Italian coastline for just a few days with Luke as we try to balance work with pleasure in between Florence and our next job in Milan. The speed in which work and the fashion industry moves over here in Europe is just crazy, and I’m loving every single moment of it.
And yes, you read correctly, Luke is with me! After Brazil he decided to come meet me and after 43 hours in grueling transit from booking the wrong flight, being bumped off the next and having his bags lost by the airline (sounds like he’s just as jinxed as I am when it comes to traveling), he finally made it to Italy even if he was a little sleep deprived and tired. He was suppose to be there on the last night of Firenze4ever but now it means we get to spend some quality time together in Cinque Terre, appreciating the small things like having clothes to wear (he only had one shirt and one pair of shorts for his two weeks in Brazil….) and of course, each other.
