A rainy yet deliciously humid and warm afternoon spent wandering through Hobart Royal Botanic Gardens with my love. Even after enduring a very hot and dry summer, the colours in Tasmania were still beautifully vibrant and the majority of flowers still in full bloom. Add the sound of rain gently pitter pattering on heart shaped lily pads and the pond below, and you have yourself a pristine and picturesque summer thunderstorm, one of my very favourite things about being home for our Australian summer. Plus being able to wear a sheer piece of lace as a dress and feeling my toes again is always a bonus!
