This is the very first time I’ve been here during February for the AW shows with its freezing, freezing weather.
This is basically my dream apartment in New York, with its ethereal light flooding into the room and making me feel like I’m floating around a winter wonderland.
It wasn’t I got to see the city with fresh eyes and fell head over heels in love with this structure covered in pink bougainvilleas called the Grand Arbour.
One fact I completely forgot about Queensland wasn’t the guaranteed sunshine all year round, but the thick and equally luscious humidity that comes with it.
In the middle of packing for NYFW, celebrating my birthday yesterday and trying to edit hundreds of photos from Queensland, it seems this exciting project with Marcs couldn’t have come at a more frantic time!
