A quick update from the sunny shores of Australia. I’m loving spending a little time at home at the moment even if it was for much longer than I had originally planned. There’s nothing quite like waking up in your own bed, being able to collect your mail and spending some quality time with your friends and family. Plus it’s so warm here that I’ve easily slipped back into the easy breezy Australian lifestyle, which means spending time by the ocean after a full day of meetings and unwinding to the sound of the waves rather than the loud noises of overcrowded streets in cities that never seem to sleep.
I had one of my closest friends weddings on the weekend which I’ve been counting down to for months. Now I’m back on the road and preparing for my trip back to the US. Unfortunately I can’t pack this off the shoulder dress by Indah with me which has been doubling as a top when I tuck it into denim shorts or leather pants for day meetings. It also comes in a top version in coral and aqua, but I have my eye on the black version which I may or definately may have ordered already. Now all I need is to pack this Australian heat with me so I’m not so torn about leaving again…
