When I was younger I thought I was going to be an astronomer when I grew up. This stemmed from my fascination for the stars, the light of the moon and the overwhelming thought of infinite space. As I grew up I quickly found out after studying Biology that being an astronomer wasn’t for me, but my fascination for the constellations never faded in the slightest. On nights like these it’s hard not to feel like my younger self again as I sit here in awe of the universe’s subtle beauty. The only difference now is I’m not sitting on my driveway star gazing alone, but instead joined by my love at the beach while I catch glimpses of his smiling face as the light of the moon is being cast across the ocean. Technically it wasn’t a supermoon, but I mixed photos we took the other night of this larger-than-normal-sized-moon with photos Luke took of the supermoon last year. Can you even spot the difference?
