Drawing a little inspiration from the Louis Vuitton show I saw last September, I paid homage to the swinging 60′s and this playful checkerboard print. It’s funny how easily this print can fall into the go-go dancer category if you add white leather knee high boots, a military hat and plastic hoop earrings. Unfortunately all of these items were (conveniently) misplaced when I moved houses so I had to tone it back with a off the shoulder top and classic black patent pumps. Kind of simple in comparison to table twisting go go dancers but if you have ever seen me dance then you’ll understand why that profession just wasn’t for me, especially in shoes like these…
