You know those weeks you’re so busy you feel like you don’t even have time to think about sleeping? I’ve had one of those weeks and even battled some serious illness that had me bed stricken for most of the day, which is why I missed posting yesterday. I attempted to post but I was in so much pain I had to curl up into a ball on the floor and kind of whimper around to make myself feel a tiny bit better. I don’t know why I find whimpering so oddly satisfying but it is. Yumi’s version of trying to make me feel better was attempting to sit right on my head every time I was on the floor. I don’t know if she was trying to make me laugh or just wanted me to be quiet. Definitely need to reassess what skills she’s bringing to this relationship here and somehow figure out a way to train her to make chicken soup when Luke is away on his surfing trips. A cat that can cook food? Well now, that’s just my perfect world, plus one that can take photos too.
