During my first weekend in London I spent the best part of it wandering down Columbia Road on a Sunday afternoon with Laura and her boyfriend Bryce. I’d heard so much about the flower markets and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest. I quickly turned into that emoji with love hearts for eyes and soft cooing replaced my words. I left a very happy girl with four bunches of flowers for only $10 pounds whilst Laura found herself an orchid for a mere $5 pounds. Oh yeah, this is Laura by the way! You would have seen her pop up on my blog in the early days. Isn’t she the cutest? We met in year 9 when I offered her some bubble gum and we’ve been best friends ever since.
After the flowers markets we found ourselves a nice little park to sit down, make daisy chains and act like girls catching up about everything and nothing, making a mess in the park whilst making DIY flower head bands. Wearing my new favourite coat that is the only thing keeping me warm in this freezing London weather and my hair straight for once because I’m going through a “I’m running really late!” phase and don’t have enough time to do my hair before I leave the house. I honestly think it’s because I’m not used to how cold it is so I’m moving ten times slower. Plus the traffic is so bad here I could kill someone! Well, maybe not kill but hurt very badly, with my eyes.Pretty Laura in a pretty headband. God how I wish I had blonde hair.
