Twenty Seven Names Top / Vintage Shorts
It’s weird to think that this is what I call work sometimes. I think over the five days in Broome I was involved in eight mini-shoots for this new campaign launching very soon. One of my favourites in particular was my individual shoot we did on this beautiful little yacht sitting just off Cable Beach. I don’t know how so many people were able to fit onto one yacht but luckily the boat that took us out to to sea had to do two trips, which left me enough time to misplace my shoes and casually lounge around taking photos with Kerry, the hair and make-up assistant.
It’s crazy to think about how hot it was when I’m sitting inside back at home listening to a winter storm pass over the house. It was actually so hot that with the heat and reflective glare from the water my freckles across the bridge of my nose instantly came back, which I still don’t know how to feel about as they’ve only appeared in the last year. Oh well, they’re not nearly as distracting as gusts of wind out to sea that give you a curly mohawk and inflate your pants so you look like you’ve put on 10 kilos when looking through your fish eye lens. Actually, maybe all of those macaroons and sweet candy treats are finally catching up with me! Maybe I’ll just stay out to sea a little bit longer.
