You know those moments when your wardrobe is full of clothes yet you feel like you have nothing to wear? Well, that’s me at the moment. Luckily everyone is having their mid-year sales so it’s easy to feel inspired again by a good bargain. I cleaned up at the Zimmermann sale last week so I can’t wait to share with you what I found there.

First, here’s one of my favourite pieces by Lover. Actually, who am I kidding? Everything by Lover is a favourite. There’s something so luxurious about the way Lover makes you feel and it’s as if each piece has been perfectly constructed to fit your body. This top was the perfect statement piece I knew my wardrobe so desperately needed. The delicate lace and flowing silk easily exudes the femininity of Lover, with the exaggerated and structured shoulders adding a fierce yet balanced edge. Probably a little over dressed for a media showing but I didn’t care, I knew I wanted to just wear it straight away.

A little thank you to Nicole for quickly taking these photos before our event yesterday. She actually caught me laughing as a school excursion of year 8 boys sat in front of me yelling things that would still make your year 8 self blush. An old Italian man even came up behind me and gave me a hug. I don’t blame him though, If I saw this top on a stranger I’d want to hug them too! Lover, you make it so easy to find new lovers. It’s just a shame they’re either old enough to be your grandpa or young enough it’s illegal.
