Sincerest apologies for the short absence. After forgetting my hard drive on my trips to Tasmania and Byron Bay for New Year’s Eve, I’ve been spending some quality time offline with the ones I love over the summer break in Australia. Although it was never my intention to do so, I quickly welcomed this short break to step back, reassess my goals and focus on what’s really important. It’s like committing suicide if you go missing from the online world for a few days, let alone not blogging for weeks on end, but once in a while a little break is forced upon us to ensure a healthy and happy mind, body and soul when finding balance in a world that rarely keeps peoples feet firmly on the ground.

As my second last post for 2013 I wanted to finally share this editorial with you. 2013 wouldn’t have been the year that it was unless I finished it off by sharing my Westfield campaign as their spring/summer Ambassador. This editorial was featured as signage in Australian Westfield stores, published in their magazine ‘The Index’, and used as advertorials in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar Australia and Elle Australia. As the face of the largest shopping centre company in the world (specifically their four premium luxury centres in Australia only), this was easily the biggest campaign I have had the opportunity to work on thus far, and perhaps my most favourite too.

As someone who is never content; always striving to do more and to do better, I’m excited by the thought of what exactly is waiting for us all in 2014. I’m putting together a little something for you all in my next post. Until then, a very belated Happy 2014!

So if you remember my post from Barcelona a few months ago this is exactly what we got up to. After a whirlwind trip to Italy I made my way over to Barcelona for a few days to shoot an editorial for Mango and their online magazine.

Mango is one of the largest retailers in the world, with more than 2,500 stores in more than 100 countries so to see myself on their home page is always a very weird and surreal feeling. It was also featured on Vogue Portugal here.

A special thank you to the Mango team for inviting me to Spain and for making this shoot an absolute breeze. I cannot wait to come back and hopefully have more time to meet more of my beautiful Spanish readers! It’s always nice to put faces to the percentages that I see on my end in my google analytics, especially when you’re all as adorably warm and fuzzy as you make me feel. What more could a girl ask for?

So just a super quick post today as I race back down to Sydney for a day of back to back meetings. On Tuesday I stayed down in Sydney for the night to attend the Giorgio Armani event at Myer and this is what I wore – an ivory lace two piece by Australian designer Lover. I had been waiting for nearly a year to spend my Lover voucher but every time I saw something I liked I knew they would release something even better in their next collection. Finally, with only a week left to spend it, I made my way into their flagship store in Sydney and stumbled across this amazing two piece which for some reason I had never spotted before. It also comes in a dress version but the option to wear the skirt and top separately made the decision far too easy, as well as being able to wear them together for the Armani event with a pop of vibrant red was the icing on this perfect ivory laced cake.

Just finished up a few more exciting interviews and style features that hopefully I can share with you all very soon, with one being for Shanghai Daily in China!? So random. It still amazes me to hear when people besides my friends and family read my blog. A special thank you goes out to Chloe at Instyle who was far too kind with her words. I’m so happy to see her writing for such a prestigious publication and following her dreams of becoming a fashion and beauty writer. Tis only the beginning for all of us and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!
