Total Calvin Klein Look and Watches + Jewellery

Jumping back to the few days I spent in Basel to celebrate the three winners of the Calvin Klein Watches + Jewellry Design School Project.

I can’t believe it’s already been 12 months since we were last here. First announcing the partnership and design program in the very same place in Basel, 6 months later flying to Shanghai to work closely with the Calvin Klein team to choose our winners, and now flying back to Basel to see the three winners designs come to life and exhibited at Baselworld – the largest watch fair in the world.

There’s always that level of excitement that fills you when you get to be a part of projects like this, as well as a sense of responsibility to not only the brand but to all the finalists involved. After coming full circle, it was like attending a reunion, all sharing a mutual excitement to see each other again and also welcoming the winners from Milan, New York and Shanghai to be a part of this innovative journey.

So a warm congratulations to Zhang Yi, our winner from Shanghai. These were her winning designs, which we all felt reflected the modern, tech-savvy culture of China.
