I’m pretty particular about how I create and share content, and perhaps the past few months have been some of the most difficult when it comes to letting go, just posting content and writing freely without overthinking the situation or worrying about how it’s going to be perceived. It’s something I’ve been trying to overcome lately, but as my mind has always been incredibly active I seem to overanalyse and pick apart my content to the point where I don’t think it’s good enough, engaging enough or innovative enough to share anymore. I guess that applies to what I wear as well, often wanting to share an outfit in a particular light or landscape rather than just shooting it for the sake of shooting it. I think people mistake this for romanticising my content, but I’ve always viewed it as storytelling and have always found such joy in creating content that has a meaning or mood behind it, which you can see if you go back to some off my oldest and favourite posts here and here.
So finally after many months I can finally show you all my essential go-to outfit for evenings or events. The timelessness of black and white has been warmly welcomed into my wardrobe as of late and the sophistication of this outfit’s flowing and fish tail silhouette made me feel like there wasn’t anywhere else in the world I could shoot it besides nestled amongst the architecture of Paris. If only I could find this back in Australia but sometimes it’s well worth the wait!
