Dappled sunlight in serene Swizterland provided the perfect backdrop to reflect the dreamy landscapes we had witnessed outside the Dolder Grand Hotel. As Luke and I floated through the corridor from the elevator to the lobby (yes, the hotel was indeed this large that this is what a connecting corridor looks like), we were taken by the moody shadows being cast upon the floor and walls by the modern architecture and streaming sunlight. I felt in many ways that very moment reflected the Calvin Klein aesthetic – clean, minimalistic, and modern, yet still interesting and engaging. It’s the simplest forms of beauty that really resonate with me, and in this case it was something as simple as a pocketful of shadows.
The laser cut leather texture and plunging neckline gave this 1920’s-esque ensemble a fresh modern twist, so it only seemed fitting to edit these photos in black and white to share this modern look in a classic light. A pin curl wave and rose gold accessories polished off the look and before we knew it we had finally made our way from the never-ending corridor, to the lobby, and on to Basel where we would visit Baselworld for the very first time to immerse ourselves in a world full of watches and jewelry.
