With spring in full mode in the Northern hemisphere and each flower in full bloom, I wanted to finally share with you one of my most treasured memories of Paris.

After waking to see the sun had finally come out to greet us in the middle of a gloomy week, Carin and I made a spontaneous trip to the Eiffel Tower to bask in the limited hours of sunshine we knew were already trickling away as every minute passed. Upon arrival, we found this single tree of cherry blossoms, which can you believe, was my first time seeing a cherry blossom tree in real life. Luckily Carin and I share a love for pretty petals, endless white light, soft hues and Paris, so she understood (and tolerated) my excitement because she was just as excited as I was to discover our first blossoming tree before Spring.

Mixing two of my favourite brands Miu Miu and Mulberry, we quickly took these photos before telling ourselves to stop, breathe, and live in this moment rather than trying to capture it. For me, simple and spontaneous moments like this are fleeting, so it’s important to take the time to truly appreciate the beauty around you and be grateful for wherever your heart, head and feet lead you.
